Reinstalling nodejs on my Arch machine seems to have got everything working again. And thank god for the wiki.

Another thing I’ve found I like in Yosemite, the Messages app auto replaces text smilies with the corresponding emoji character.

I’m really liking OS X Yosemite. It looks stunning, and the transparency is a lot more subtle than I was expecting. After a day of tinkering I think I have everything working again. A few homebrew formulas needed reinstalling, nginx in particular posed a few issues.
